Educators of young adults with disabilities have limited time in which to provide the opportunities and encouragement for students to learn the skills and attitudes that foster self-determination. This resource, presented with a series of interviews, offers some ideas to help in the process of developing self-determination.

This video focuses on young adults and introduces them and the viewer to the idea of self-determination. The program, through a series of interviews and community footage, provides helpful information on providing opportunities to increase self-determination for people with developmental disabilities. Contains helpful inforamtion while providing opportunities to increase self-determination. It also discusses obstacles that have gotten in the way or made it hard to be self-determined.
